Description : A four part message from 8th Army Headquarters to front-line units relating information about the controlled movement of all refugees to all commands.; Associated Press Annotation:

"THE HIGH COMMAND ORDERS REFUGEES STOPPED.

At 10a.m., on July 26, 1950, just hours before the refugees came under U.S. attack at No Gun Ri, Eighth Army headquarters sent this message to front-line units about organizing refugee movements. Line 4 says, 'No repeat no refugees will be permitted to cross battle lines at any time.'"
