Title : After-Mission Report for 35th Fighter Bomber Squadron's Mission 35-11
Description : An Air Force after-mission report recounting the details of Mission 35-11 which was conducted by the 35th Fighter Bomber Squadron of the 8th Fighter Bomber Group on July 26, 1950.; Associated Press Annotation:
"AIR FORCE REPORTS SHOW ATTACKS ON THE NO GUN RI AREA (3 DOCUMENTS).
An after-mission report says, in item 7b, that 50 to 100 'troops' were killed or wounded by U.S. Air Force planes 'three miles south' of Yongsan-ni (item 8; misspelled as Yonsan-ni) on July 26, 1950, when No Gun Ri survivors estimate 100 refugees were killed by strafing planes 4 1/2 miles southeast of Yongsan-ni. The initial attack on the refugees occurred around midday; this mission flew in early evening. But some survivors say they were strafed again later that day, or the next, or both. (Many after-mission reports from July 1950 cannot be found)."
